These yarns are part of my LAVKEN range of homespun yarns. They have been spun by a group of women from the coastal region of central southern Chile. They are members of an indigenous association, and part of Chile's own fair trade network. Yarn is spun from the local sheep, which are usually Suffolk or Romney Marsh. They grow a number of their dye plants, or collect plant material locally.
