Shipping policy
We are currently shipping STANDARD UK parcels daily from Tuesday to Saturday. Our order deadline to ensure next day dispatch is 15:00 on the preceding day (Monday/Friday). We will contact you if for any reason we are unable to meet this deadline.
UK DELIVERY: All UK parcels using STANDARD SHIPPING will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (small parcels) or 2nd Class (large letter size).
UK DELIVERY UPGRADE - shipped every working day via UPS. Please see details below:
Example - order by 17:00 for courier collection on the next working day. Delivery aim is currently 2 working days. Please be aware, however, that during the pandemic couriers are not offering a DELIVERY GUARANTEE, and delays in both collection and delivery may occur. Please contact us for further information if you require a parcel urgently.
Please let us know if you would like to arrange an alternative postal/courier service, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
UNITED STATES ORDERS will be dispatched via Royal Mail International Tracked or UPS Expedited, depending on the size of the parcel. I will aim to ship twice a week on a Wednesday and Friday, but this may vary depending on my local courier collection availability. I will message you with more information if there is likely to be any delay in shipping.
I reserve the right to refuse an order if the delivery charge is much higher than expected. In this situation I will contact you with an accurate quote for delivery. If the new quote is not acceptable I will cancel the order and issue a full refund.
CUSTOMS ETC. Customs charges are the responsibility of the customer. I cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs.

YOU THINK YOUR PARCEL MIGHT BE LOST?
Please bear in mind that delivery times given above are only ESTIMATES.
Royal Mail will only enter into a claim for a lost parcel after the following time lapses: EU/UK - 20 working days after the item was due for delivery.
REST OF WORLD - 25 working days after item was due for delivery.
UPS - a claim can be initiated once the estimated delivery date has passed; claims are currently taking at least 10-15 working days to resolve. If you think that your parcel might be lost, please contact me to let me know so that I can investigate. Please bear in mind that I am unable to offer a refund until the above time period has passed.
PACKAGING AND THE ENVIRONMENT:
Here at wildwoven we are very much aware of the role that we need to play in minimising the negative impact that our business activities may have on the environment.
We have now almost completely eliminated plastic from our parcel packaging.
Yarn orders are shipped in heavy duty paper sacks sealed with glue or paper tape. Larger items are boxed and, if padding is required, we use a paper 'bubble' wrap. We use only paper tape to seal our boxes. We will only use plastic packaging to wrap a rug/textile item if we feel that this is necessary to ensure that it arrives to you in a dry condition. We are currently using up old poly bags/sacks for this purpose.
International Orders require an external document wallet for customs purposes - unfortunately this is still plastic, so please recycle if local recycling is available.
Please re-use your packaging materials if at all possible. If not, please recycle or compost.
