Thank you for visiting our shop. We are a small, family-run, fair trade business based in rural mid-Wales, and we are wild about weaving! Inspired by the seasons and landscapes of the Cambrian mountains, where we are fortunate to live and work, we design and make a range of one-of-a-kind weaving looms and kits, oozing with colour and personality. We are passionate about supporting rural livelihoods, and we work closely with skilled spinners, weavers and dyers in Chile and Peru to curate a selection of highly-textured homespun yarns for weavers and fibre artists.

You may already know us as añañuca....We hope that you like our new name, which we feel better reflects our passion for all things weaving, and for the mountain landscapes that inspire us. Please rest-assured, as a fair trade business we continue to showcase a collection of  hand-loomed textiles and exquisite, limited edition craft works from some of Latin America's finest artisans.

We aim to build lasting relationships with the artisans who spin, dye and weave for us. We enable them to continue to practise their craft in their own homes, and we create opportunities for them to demonstrate their skills to a wider audience.

We buy work only of the highest quality, crafted using traditional techniques which have been handed down through generations.

Colour is all, and many of our yarns and textiles have been dyed using natural plant dyes, reproducing the rich colour palette of the landscape and the season in which they were created.
