Naturally Dyed Weaving Yarn - Butter

This yarn has been naturally dyed especially for us by skilled artisans from southern Chile. The yarns are dyed in small batches using plant material collected locally. This is a sturdy commercially spun yarn ideal for tapestries, cushions, throws and outer garments. Being naturally dyed these yarns tone beautifully with each other.

50g skein / 1.75oz

Weight: 12 wpi (wraps per inch). Roughly equivalent to DK/light worsted weight.
Length: 50g skein = 70-90 metres/76-100 yards

Gently hand wash and rinse in lukewarm water. Dry flat.
These yarns are colour fast, but like all materials, they will eventually fade if left in bright sunlight. A small amount of colour residue may bleed in the first wash.
