Naturally Dyed Weaving Yarn Selection
These weaving yarns have been naturally dyed by skilled artisans from central Chile using plants collected in the vicinity of their homes. The women work at home to produce woollen goods to supplement their family income.
This is a robust, plied yarn (machine spun) with a slightly rustic feel. It is ideal for home furnishings (cushions, throws, woven tapestries), or clothing items that are not worn next to the skin.
- 10 mini skeins, each measuring 20 metres/22 yards
- Total weight: 120g/4.25oz
- Yarn thickness: 12 wpi (wraps per inch)
- 100% sheep's wool
- Hand wash in lukewarm water. Dry Flat
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the rustic nature of this wool yarn, you may find small pieces of plant material tangled in the fibres of the yarn. Please also expect slight variations in thickness and colour - I believe that this enhances the beauty of the yarn.
